Autonomic nervous system is a part of the nervous system that regulates involuntary functions of the body, including heart rate, respiratory rate, digestion, pupillary response, urination, and sexual arousal. This system is the primary mechanism in control of the fight-or-flight response. This pharmacology lecture covers topics such as anatomy and physiology of the autonomic nervous system, afferent & efferent neurons, sympathetic & parasympathetic divisions, cholinergic & adrenergic neurons, nicotinic, adrenergic, and muscarinic receptors.

  2. Not a word came to mind because I did not see a single logic behind any word.
    Only one 1 medical expert could not find the logic of many medical terms.
    So when I was listening to these biological terms, my brain naturally eliminated them.

  4. Nice n very informative though. Even the video did not incorporate the functions of drugs as inhibit and secrete of the taking certain amount of drugs. If you study pharmacology, you should know about the threshold of the drugs too.
