the compatibility shows 35mm 1.8G, but it doesnt focus. Can you help please…
Other zooms and 50mm 1.8 work very well. BTW, tried 50mm 1.8 D lens and the 105+135 f/2 DC lenses are not compatible.
Hi bro, best lens ? Sony 18-105 f4 vs sigma/tamron 17-50 2.8 , plz suggest thnx!
Hi. I have sold all my Nikon lens, and I have bought 3 Sony Lens ( happy ) , but I still have a Sigma 150-600 Contemporary ( mount Nikon ) , it is the only lens I need to attach to my Sony A7III.
I tested a Viltrox, it was bad the focus ( not strange noises but bad focus),
Fotodiox bad reviews… ( rejected)….
My doubt is about: VELLO or COMMLITE ? no one is in compatibility list, but the question is: has someone attached Sony A7III with Sigma 150-600 C Nikon mount? I Sport usage will be the mayor usage
Forgive may poor english.
Thanks all in advance. Best regards.
Does it have optics, or is it just pass-through? If optics, does it change the focal length?
Hi, is A6000 compatible?
Hey, Christopher. I have the Neewer version. One thing I wanted to know is, does the aperture remain open on the Commlite version until the shutter button is pressed?
Excellent video
Would you have a list of Nikon lenses this works with?
"60% of the time, it works everytime" i love anchorman hahahaha!
to be honest i own one and i try to use it on my A7r ii
So far only this Nikon 70-200mm f2.8G first Generation and tokina 17-35mm F4 works
I have the first Generation for nikon 24-70 G F2.8 most of the time it does not work.
Not sure isit the adapter hardware issue
Thanks
I got this for A6400 and works as advertised for the lenses mentioned but also Tamron 70-210 F4 and 100-400 !!
How to set aperture?
Great Video! I am having an AF-D 80-200 and some AIs lens and I really want my A7II to know the focal length I am using so that the IBIS can be turned on. Do you know if data of the focal length are transferred to the camera such that IBIS can recognize the focal length I am using?
can you please review the viltrox nf-e1 pro? thanks!
how is it now?
new updates? new adapters?
Do you know if this supports A7iii yet?
Anyone have experience with Nikkor 200-500mm and Sony a6500?
Do you know if aperture works with nikon afp lenses not concerned about auto focus or VR?
What about support with the A7?
Hey Poeple, is that possible to use an adaptator sony lens to nikon camera? Thanks
Hello! what is the diference with the "Fotodiox FUSION Smart AF Adapter Mark II, Nikon G-Mount AF-I / AF-S Lens to Select Sony E-Mount Mirrorless Cameras (a6300, a6500, a7 II, a7R II, a9) with Updated Full Automated Functions" ?
I am still waiting for my A7III to arrive. Anyone knows if this supports the A7III?
Do you think it would work with the AF Micro-Nikkor200mm f/4D IF-ED and the Sony a7 ii
Great, it finally works well.
Now, I want it for micro 4/3 mount.
with sigma art (nikon) ??????
Chris,
I just got the Commlite Nikon to Sony. I was a Nikon shooter forever. I switched to Sony. I have been waiting for the right adapter to use all my Nikon glass.
The adapter does not work on my Sony 6300. I am very disappointed.
Would this work on Nikon/Nikkor 35mm F/2D lens? thanks!
Nikon needs to ma a mirrorless camera.
It's a shame that this doesn't do video autofocus
What about support with the A7 III
No eye autofocus?
Thanks for the excellent video showing how the focus actually works! So many reviews have very little demo of the viewfinder or LCD screen trying to do it's job. Glad to see the tracking and face detection!
These adapter solutions are a piece of shit. Generally. Especially when you use them with long telephoto lenses. Autofocus performance is terrible. And you miss shots. No way no go.
Any idea about compatibility with third party lenses such like the Tamron 24-70 G2, Tamron 70-200 G2, 45 F1.8, 90 2.8 and Sigma ART primes?
Is there a USB port or anything to update the firmware? Or do they expect you to just buy a new one when they create a new version?
Does it work well too when aperture turn to small like F8.0 or F16. I saw many testing video on youtube, all testing are turn to biggest one and no one testing small aperture
Thanks for your review , so this adaptor not support auto eye focus ?
Finally an adapter that works!! Thanks for the video. So sad it doesn't perform well in video mode 🙁
The AF simply works. However when you use a wide angle lens, corner sharpness is pretty bad.
Eye AF works on the a9 and a7R3.
I have this one on my a7rii. With Nikon af-s 85mm 1.4g and Tamron 45mm vc 1.8 it works great. With Nikon 24-70mm 2.8, 60mm 2.8 micro, 200-500mm 5.6, 24mm 1.4 it's not good. Haunts to much.
Have the v06 and use it on the a7r3. 20mm 1.8g works fantastic, 28 – 300 however sucks so badly and hunts for 3-4 seconds im surprised it's on the recommended lens list.
tempting.. i wonder how the canon to sony one works .. [i have like two canon lenses]
Great review.
What,…No a6000????
I’m using it on an A7RIII with no problems. Very useful.
I love you, I've beeeeen waiting for a review
good video, I have seen videos by Sean Michaels and Commlite but I wanted to see with the newest firmware.
I have the very first version Commlite for Canon 2 Sony adapting. It's complete trash for any lens with some tele on it, but then I tried it with my Canon 16-35/2.8L II and it works perfectly. As fast as on my Canon body and eye-focus tracking. Every other lens I've tried has been manual focus only as the autofocus was completely unworkable, but for some reason that 1 lens is perfect for it.
Adapters are strange.
